Our Multi-sensory reading, writing, and math programs target students with

Specific Learning Differences.
Students will receive weekly individualized language/literacy services provided by speech-language pathologists specializing in reading and writing disorders.

Testing and Standards

Academic Conferences will be held on a quarterly basis report.  Included in this envelope is a Parent/Student Information Form. Please sit with your child and discuss the questions provided. This is meant to stimulate discussion between you and your child. Please return the completed conference forms a week before parent/student conferences and all dates will be provided on the academic calendar.

Language services are offered to all New Pathways by Lindsay Lopez a Licensed CCC-SLP. Additional services and diagnostics are available based upon observations and request.

Language & Literacy of the Treasure Coast has the ability to perform Dyslexia diagnostic testing as well as evaluations, create customized treatment plans and work with the students while in school. Turning dyslexia and related language-learning disorders into your child’s super power.

STEM Fridays (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) instruction will enhance your children’s understanding.

Our interactive hands-on STEM Lab contains bins with manipulatives and challenge cords. Rotational lessons in Cooking, Lego Robotics, computer programming, multi-sensory science experiments and more.

 

As Parents, your support and open communication with our teachers and staff is a crucial component to ensuring your children are adjusting to the school environment here at New Pathways Learning Academy.  We offer direct chat communication through BrightWheel which will notify teachers.

Movement plays a crucial role in childrens development. PE is not just an intorduction to sports but the foundation of how our bodies move and why.

Learning nutrition, exercise,  hand – eye coordination, sportsmanship and teamwork builds bonds and creates a strong foundation.

The joy and accomplishment when children see something they have cared for grow, get harvested and becomes their next meal.

Cooking Class

Creativity in the kitchen is a great way for kids to find joy in producing something. Each week a dietary friendly menu will be created. 

You children will learn and have the opporunity to:

  • Meal Planning

  • Preventing cross contamination

  • Safe knife skills

  • Stove and sink safety

  • Experimenting with flavors

  • Trying new foods

Art Class

Art Class

Art techniques such as painting, sculpting, drawing, craft art.

Higher elementary classes will also learn art history. Van Gogh, Renoir, DaVinci, O’Keefe.
